Whitewater rafting is a seasonal activity and based on scheduled water release for operation 100 days per year. Each season begins on Saturdays in April and May and then 5 days a week (all days except Tuesday and Wednesday's) during June, July and August, and goes back to Saturdays only after Labor Day Weekend  during September and October. 

Selecting a Rafting Trip Middle Ocoee River Trip: (Starts at $40.00 Per Ticket)

• Rapids: Class III & IV (Home of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater)
• Trip Length: 1.5 Hours on the Water / 3 Hours from Check-In to Check-Out
• Season: Weekends Mid-May to Mid-September
• No Experience Required

Full River Trip: (Starts at $85.00 Per Ticket)

• Distance: 10 Miles
• Rapids: Class III & IV
• Trip Length: 3 Hours on the Water / 4.5 Hours from Check-In to Check-Out
• Season: Weekends Mid-May to Mid-September
• No Experience Required

Requirements to Raft

• Tennessee State Parks require all rafters on the Ocoee must be at least 12 years of age, and any participant under the age of 18 must also have a parent or guardian's signature. 
• All participants must wear shoes (strap on sandals, tennis shoes, or water shoes). Flip flops are not allowed. 
• As a sanitary measure, we require that a shirt be worn by all participants. Tank tops and bathing suit tops are not allowed.

Things to Know

• One of the great things about the Ocoee River is that there is no experience necessary! 
• Photos are taken of each raft on each trip and are available for you to view when you get back to the outpost after your trip.
• Our rafting center is located at 1548 Hwy 68, Ducktown, TN 37323 and rafting is the only activity we offer at this address. 
• Ticket purchases must be made online in advance. We do not operate general admission.

Requirements to Zip

• 1-Hour & 2-Hour Tours: All participants must be at least 10 years old and between the weight of 70 to 250 pounds.
• Kid Zip: All participants must be between the age of 6 to 9. Any participant that is 6 or 7 must have an accompanying adult that has also purchased a kid zip ticket and is under the weight of 175 pounds.
• All participants must be in good physical condition. Participation is not recommended for anyone with heart conditions, recent surgeries, or pregnant. 
• All participants must be able to walk short distances and be able to climb steps to our 35 and 75 foot towers.
• Anyone that is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate.
• All participants must wear closed-toe and heel shoes that completely cover your foot such as outdoor hiking or running shoes. Long hair must be pulled back in a ponytail. No jewelry, scarves, or loose items are allowed to be worn and no items can be taken in pockets such as keys, cell phones or wallets.

• All ticket sales are final with no exceptions within 7 days of the tour date.

The zipline tours in not located at the Blue Ridge Adventure Park, nor is the challenge course located at the zipline tour property. Once you have purchased tickets please make sure to arrive at the correct location.

Blue Ridge’s premiere Aerial Adventure Park is an obstacle challenge course designed to challenge participants both mentally and physically. The course features three levels of suspended bridges and tight ropes from 15 to 45 feet in the air, with each level becoming progressively more difficult.  Designed to be self-guided for ages ten and older. Participation is at each individual’s own pace with up to 1 hours allowed to get through the course.

Please Note: The challenge course is the only activity we offer at the Adventure Park. We offer Zipline Canopy Tours at a different location. The address for the challenge course at the Aerial Adventure Park is 2087 East First Street Blue Ridge, GA 30513. Requirements

• Must weigh less than 250 pounds.
• Must wear shoes that covers your entire foot, most commonly worn is a tennis shoe or gym shoe. No sandals of any kind are allowed to be worn. 
• No items are allowed in pockets during participation on the course, including cell phones, knives and keys.

• Hours of operation vary depending on the weather and season. To ensure availability and confirm dates of operation, reservations are required in advance.
• No refunds, credits or rescheduling are available within 48 hours of your scheduled time. 
• The Challenge Course and our Zipline Canopy Tours are two different activities at two different locations. Please make sure to get to the right location.
